Prior to becoming a wedding photographer Danielle worked as a photojournalist at newspapers in Michigan and Florida for 6 years. During college she also interned at newspapers in Missouri, Florida, North Carolina and New Hampshire. Her favorite part of photography is telling a story through her photos.
When covering a wedding Danielle takes a photojournalistic approach, which means she photographs real moments as they happen. Other than formal portraits she does not stage or recreate moments; Danielle photographs the real deal as it happens. When clients get their photos back many times they will comment that they didn't even realize a particular photo was being taken. When you look back at your photos you will not only remember how you looked on your wedding day, but you will remember how you felt in the moments that were captured.
